ok ok, here I am lol. I want to start off by saying my name is Kasie Lopez and I am a SISTER OF SAVINGS DIVA!!! I joined SOS in February but didn't get started untill I attended my first seminar in April of 07. I then learned what it was to save money and give back to my community. With the help of the original sisters Lynette and CHeryl I have been able to save literally thousands of dollars. Its only been 4 months and my total savings have sky rocketed. Me and my family were finally in 10 years that I have been with my husband we were finally for the first time able to take a vacation to SEA WORLD. All for simply cutting coupons. I have donated so much to my local pantry here and also to the Salvation Army here where I live. These sisters have taught me what it was like to feel proud of what I am doing. I was once so low I didn't know how I was going to be able to feed my family. I was one of the people who seek help in the local pantries. I was one who had to turn to government assistance. But, now I am able to provide for my family, friends, parents, grandparents, sisters, and others in my community. ANd the ladies on the SOS boards are truly GOD SENT. I wouldn't of asked for better "Sisters". I have become so close to a lot of the ladies here and I thank the LORD and my original sisters for that. I am wanting to take the next step and need help figuring out what that is. I want to do something BIG BIG BIG. I'm not sure if this is what I was suppose to post but, I just let my fingers fall and this is what I typed lol. But, I love you all and now always save 80-100% on my grocery bills!!!!!!!!
I'm so addicted to SOS that the day I was scheduled to have my baby, I made my husband stop at Tom Thumb. What for he asked? SOS had alerted me to a sale where my coupons allowed me to get Hefty paper plates and plastic cups for FREE! If I didn't go the morning of my c-section, the sale would be over by the time I was released from the hospital. He couldn't believe it but was thrilled to walk out of the store with 200 plates and 4 packages of cups for FREE!!!
I am a sister (and mother of two) of savings. :-)
